Easter Joy

“The gifts of the Master are these: freedom, life, hope, new direction, transformation, and intimacy with God. If the cross was the end of the story, we would have no hope. But the cross isn't the end. Jesus didn't escape from death; he conquered it and opened the way to heaven for all who will dare to believe. The truth of this moment, if we let it sweep over us, is stunning. It means Jesus really is who he claimed to be, we are really as lost as he said we are, and he really is the only way for us to intimately and spiritually connect with God again.” Steven James “Story”

I spent two hours preparing a ‘blog post’ for Our Crazy Life Plus One. It covered how I shot the Easter Bunny. I am posting Saturday night because tomorrow our day is filled with family.

I want to just wish you the blessings of this Easter and the hope that comes with it. Jesus is real. He is the only way to connect with God now and in the future. It was the prophecy of Isaiah in Chapter 53, that the Messiah would be persecuted, die for our sins and rise on the third day. It is the Gospel of John in the New Testament, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb where Jesus was buried and found it empty. An angel told her that Jesus had risen.

John 11:25-26 “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
