Both Sides of the Story
“A woman is like a tea bag; you never know how strong it is until it's in hot water.” Eleanor Roosevelt
Just a tid-bit, but my Dad is related to Eleanor Roosevelt, so I think that means I am too!
This painting feels just about done, so it will hang it in the studio and I will see if it calls back to me. The appearance is that of a woven tapestry in person, fully textured and the color with beautiful jewel type hues.
I love the quote I found... basically because you never know how strong your connection is with God until you are in 'hot water', or an unexpected situation." The past two almost three weeks since the life change shift hit us, God has been ever present leading the way in more things every day. I marvel each morning while reading the Bible how great His mercy is and how strong and unfailing His love is. Each day Terry and I pray together in the morning for our day, for strength, purpose, direction, protection and His covering in our lives and the lives of our family.
I know, Lord, that your laws are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me. May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant. Let your compassion come to me that I may live, for your law is my delight. Psalm 119:75-77
