Where can I bury it? . . .

“What can I do with my happiness? How can I keep it, conceal it, bury it where I may never lose it? I want to kneel as it falls over me like rain, gather it up with lace and silk, and press it over myself again.” ― Anaïs Nin, Henry & June

These are two more close ups in the painting. There are hearts painted throughout the piece as well as centralized and it has "GOD" right above the heart.  It is in Lady L's handwriting or printing at the time. The drawing below is another one from her sketch book. I used many of her sketches in bits and pieces including the house yesterday.  Her sketchbooks are treasures to me of a little girl untouched by storms in life... and always looking for the rainbow.  The lady in the sketch below is actually holding an umbrella.

Do you have an umbrella in life that you hide under?  I try to hide in the arms of God to be shielded from the trials and storms that come upon me. There are times that I actually stop and envision him holding me in his arms as a Father would to carry me through the tempest.

"Yet he has not left himself without testimony: He has shown kindness by giving you rain from heaven and crops in their seasons; he provides you with plenty of food and fills your hearts with joy.” Acts 14:17
