The Ideal Life . . .

“Good friends, good books, and a sleepy conscience: this is the ideal life.” ― Mark Twain

This is a painting that is available on my website.  It is an Appy painted on board with soft subtle colors. Reminds me of a young appaloosa, much like the soft wolf of yesterday. I have reduced the price 50% so it is the perfect time for you to consider this one for your collection. It is available here.

I think of moving things out each year and wanting to start fresh. I am hoping to start painting again at least four days of the week to get back in the groove. We are no longer keeping the grandson that we helped with daily for the past 14 months. God has opened our lives back up to do some of the household things we have not accomplished because of the baby's schedule and I can paint again.  It has been a love/hate affair in my studio.  At times I was ready to dismantle it and walk away...but then I would get a commission I could throw my heart into and God would remind me again of my gift and what my direction should be.  Acceptance. Giving Thanks.

“No, please!” said Jacob. “If I have found favor in your eyes, accept this gift from me. For to see your face is like seeing the face of God, now that you have received me favorably. Genesis 33:10
