The Wind Under Your Wings

“May the wind under your wings bear you where the sun sails and the moon walks.” ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit

Well I do like it this way!  A bit risky but more of what I am enjoying but still not where I want to wander entirely.  I love the light of the moon and the highlights in the piece. I love the ebb and flow of the paint and feel the strength in the painting itself.  It came a journey and I had to let go of the foundation sketch and let the paint go where it wanted to go.

1 Chronicles 28:20 "David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished."
