Fall Rain

“Be still, sad heart! and cease repining; Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;  Thy fate is the common fate of all, Into each life some rain must fall” ― Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Ballads and Other Poems

Into each life rain does fall.  In mine and in yours. Trying times are part of our life's journey. Trying times brings on distress... and that becomes full blown stress.  One of my favorite things to do when I am on that edge of despair is to think about happier times that were full of joy and love.   I might even look for old pictures that bring back moments of that calmer time.

This image is one of my favorite photos from the lake. The composition brings you in from the bottom right and grows into the top left in full bloom of leaves.  We are always climbing mountains... or sliding into valleys. Know that times will pass and everything will change.  How you look at life is how you handle life. Keeping a positive attitude in the worse times makes the journey easier.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.  2 Corinthians 13:14 NIV
