The Next Step...feeling lonely.

“Did you ever walk through a room that's packed with people, and feel so lonely you can hardly take the next step?” ― Jodi Picoult, Second Glance

The next step after squiggling paint on the canvas surface was to begin knifing it around and finding composition in what you are knifing based on the movement not on a proposed idea.  So the laying out of the paint at this time has a rhythm to it.  This is the scarey step...the lonely one that only you can make on your own. You know you are brave, but it does feel mighty lonely.

Trusting right now as I move ahead. Giving the painting over to that inner spirit... and trusting it will be giving back the direction needed for the final step of 'finding' the spirit.

"Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:38
