The Sky is Falling  . More RAIN?   HAIL TOO?   .  Texas Storms on Steroids . 65 mph winds . Horse Paintings by Laurie Pace

The spring storms have been rolling through north Texas the past three weeks.  Our lakes were up to 25 ft below level and most are above level. We have been in a drought for years so this wet spring has been welcome.  Well, maybe not the 65 mph winds and the hail and tornadoes, but the rain.. yes it is welcome.

With each rain storm Terry has to pump out the ground beneath our red oak we planted two years ago.  They do not like wet feet and we are doing everything we can to keep it from having soggy roots.

This divine abundance of rain is wonderful.  We knew through the years of drought, eventually we would have some rain. It is not as predictable as the daily rains along the coast with the afternoon heating, or the tide rolling in and out on the beach, but you can just about count on a storm in springtime in north Texas.  All the worry from the drought and wildfires... cannot change the circumstances of a drought. Only God can bring the rains we need and we must trust they will come as we need them.  So this spring we are allowing God's blessings to flow to us with an appreciative prayer. We are in the flow of divine abundance.
