Be Grateful...

“Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.” ― Marcel Proust

Colors of the season ahead!  I love these days with cooler weather, frosty mornings, a cup of hot tea and a big bowl of oatmeal served in our holiday dishes covered in Cardinals and birds.  We pull these dishes out in early November and use them through the end of January.

I know every family has their own traditions and favorites that begin from Thanksgiving forward. This time of year can be very happy and in the next moment change can occur to make it a very difficult time. No matter what lies ahead this day, this week, this month, turn to God with your pain, your questions, your happiness... all of it. He will walk this time with you.

Surround yourself with things that bring you comfort. Reach out and do not face the world alone.

"For this is what the Lord says  “You were sold for nothing,  and without money you will be redeemed.” Isaiah 52:3
