Progress in Painting

24 x 48 inches Oil on Canvas

Floating Ponies? I don't think so. I can't love it.   Now you have to come back tomorrow to see where it lands... while this held up composition wise and was beginning to work, it lacked the freedom I was looking for. It was too confining for me.  More on the horse painting tomorrow... in black and white.

As you can tell I am stepping out on an adventure with this painting. It is an adventure because I know not where I am going.  Every time I step out in faith, I rely on the Holy Spirit within to guide me and inspire me and lead me where I am suppose to be going in my artwork.  The Spirit of God is the power and only with that can I accomplish this journey.

The painting is not exactly in conflict, but it definitely is not in peace. Centering myself and pulling my desires out of the way will open up the correct road for this journey.  As soon as I realized the error in this composition... I knew what I was ready to take a chance and go with my first intuition.  Tomorrow you will see the next step.

Did you ever realize how much you get in your own way of the wonderful things God has planned for you?

Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, ‘Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from hurt and harm!’ And God granted what he asked. 1 Chronicles 4:10

Centering in Peace,
