“The sunlight claps the earth, and the moonbeams kiss the sea: what are all these kissings worth, if thou kiss not me?” Percy Bysshe Shelley

Well, I glazed some white over the yellow up top instead of darkening it. I also glazed white over the horse to unify it back together.  This one is difficult to get a good photo of it. There is so much motion and the layer of paint is thicker than on the Blue Horse... sort of a combo of what was and the direction I am pulling.

I know the wolves are not done...but this one I believe is done.  My next adventure is for a friend who wants a small 18 x 24 painting.  It may be the next you see. I have already begun another one for a second high school friend, who is now like a brother to both Terry and me. It is him riding his horse!  It is more realistic and of course I will be sharing it also.  I do paint more than contemporary horse paintings, or abstract horse paintings.

The heat is still baking us here in north Texas.  June and July are like August always is, so I am not looking forward to seeing 110 plus degrees in August. We still need rain too!

I suddenly realized I am not writing much in my blogs the past few weeks other than the show and tell of progress.  I spoke with painter Theresa Paden this past week and she and I may be cooking up something special for your Holiday Shopping.
