It makes you feel Vulnerable . . .
“Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up." Neil Gaiman
This is the beginning of the canvas.
This is the foundation of the painting, a date that marks the beginning and a Bible verse that says it all. My heart is squeezed in anticipation that I can make this journey as I have not painted flowers in the past year. I stopped to pray as I began this day placing it all in the Father's hands to guide my brush because I felt both intimidated and worried that it had been too long since I painted in this style.
Throughout scripture we are told NOT to be afraid. NOT to have our hearts be troubled. Trust in God and trust in Jesus. So forward I go in this journey for a good friend from childhood days. We attended the same elementary, same Jr high and high school. It is a 4 x 4 ft canvas.
1 Cor. 13:13 "And now abideth these three, faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love."
