Last Push . . .
“May you live every day of your life.” ― Jonathan Swift
Each day you live, live it to the fullest. Give it all your have in every area of life. Smile, spread joy, work hard, share love and remember always to connect with others and serve when you can.
We seem to get tangled in our immediate worlds and forget about reaching out to others. Sometimes it seems simpler to not get involved. While I am not suggesting overwhelming your current life, I am speaking about examining what you are involved in and make sure you chose wisely for yourself and how you serve other people. We have been told to learn to say no; is it saying no or is it taking a long hard look at where you are spinning and spending your time?
This is Palm Sunday. We celebrate the joyful entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, one week before His resurrection. The people were waving large palm branches and laying them before him as he walked into the holy city. This was near the culmination of a long journey toward Golgotha. Jesus came to save the lost and we realize it is the time and the place that he will secure our salvation. This week is often called Passion Week, marking the final days of Jesus' earthly ministry. Palm Sunday is the 'beginning of the end' of Jesus' work here on earth. You might say it is his last push.
God gave Solomon wisdom and very great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore. 1 Kings 4:29
