Color of Summer
Color of Summer . Time to Mow isn't it? . Quick close the windows, I am allergic to GRASS! Horse Paintings by Laurie Pace
This is my third month fighting an allergy I cannot identify but I know grass is not my friend. Something in the house triggers it three days out of four and it is miserable... meanwhile I keep all windows closed when people are out mowing, or if we are out in the car, recycled air must be on. Allergies are NO FUN.
Green is the color of summer. Everything is in full bloom and by August my second worst allergy will usher in Ragweed for September. Trying to stay centered with God and not get in a "poor me" pity party is sometimes hard. I remind myself that God protects me, enfolds me, loves me, walks this with me, and he is always there. I can believe that I am strong, whole and can be healed from all of it. I can decide to step into the all-ness of well being and not allow the allergies to rule my day.
Enjoy the coming days of summer, it is only a few weeks away not that we are in May!
